About the event
The concept of occupational burnout dates back to the 1970s. It was not well defined till 2019 when it was included in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) and described as “a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed.”
This presentation will cover the history and current conceptualizations of burnout as well as prevention options and remedies.
Dr. Katarzyna Litak, M.D., FASAM, is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult psychiatrist with additional qualifications in Addiction Medicine, currently in private practice.
