About the event

The concept of occupational burnout dates back to the 1970s.  It was not well defined till 2019 when it was included in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) and described as “a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed.”

This presentation will cover the history and current conceptualizations of burnout as well as prevention options and remedies.

Dr. Katarzyna Litak, M.D., FASAM, is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult psychiatrist with additional qualifications in Addiction Medicine, currently in private practice.

Please register to receive the Zoom meeting link that will be sent 24 hours before the meeting. The meeting is in the English language.
