Faces of Solidarity Closing at the East Side Freedom Library

Faces of Solidarity is a powerful tribute to the Polish refugees who found their new home in Minnesota. This exhibition is the first installment of Kalejdoskop Polski MN, a comprehensive project initiated by MPMS (Minnesota Polish Medical Society) to document the experiences of Polish immigrants in Minnesota after World War II.

We want to acknowledge the significant contributions of Grzegorz Litynski, the Lead Artist responsible for the visual history component of the project. For more information about his work, please visit www.litynski.com. Furthermore, we extend our appreciation to Dr. Katarzyna Litak, the curator and designer of the exhibition, who also serves as the President of MPMS.

The Kalejdoskop Polski MN project has been made possible through generous grant support from esteemed organizations such as the Minnesota Historical Society, the Metro Regional Arts Council, and the Minnesota State Arts Board. We are grateful for their commitment to preserving and sharing the rich history of Polish immigrants in Minnesota.

Thank you to all who joined us for the closing event on October 8, 2022!
